Good song. I'm not sure what I think about the vocals: on one hand, something about the production bothers me, like they're too clean, as well as not 'sung' as much as I think they should be; but on the other hand, the vocals interest me with the fairly unique style. Good song anyway.

I like the song music wise and lyric wise and I like the vocal alot.... I think it has what it takes to be great song
the only thing I would add is that the same care that went into mixing the track be applied the vocal as well I would love to hear this song done with the vocal a half step slower so more emotion can come across and mixed vocal heavey all in all very good work look forward to hearing more...

great chorusy guitar sound, i really dig what the drummer is doing on this. i hear more of a suzanne vega feel from your voice. i like the vocals, i wish it was less wordy in spots - with the fast right hand stuff on the accoustic it gets a bit crowded with them being in close proximity of the same eq range. very, very well written song. love your voice.

wonderful vocals. i'm not very familiar with edie brickell as was mentioned earlier, but i can hear touches of Sarah McLachlan.
I do agree that if the chorus vocal was a bit slower, it would flow better, but it still works.
your voice compliments your guitar very well.

Nice song very well executed. I'm gonna go with the Suzanne Vega someone mentioned further up the thread I get her sort of vibe particularily with the vocals. It works well maybe needs a little refining but that's just me nitpicking and you know what you should do with nitpickers

The melody is GREAT here! The drummer is very "crisp" and on beat with everything. The mixing on this sounds very professional. I'd have to label this a very "clean" track. (That's a compliment... just in case ) I like your style. I just want to shut my eyes and tilt my head back when I listen to your music... Another good one. I would like to hear more!

Reminds me of Suzanne Vega's "Marlene on the Wall"...very mellow, nice vocals and the words and vocals work well. Usually when one sings a lot of word quickly, it's easy to lose sync with the music and the vocals successfully stay in pace with the song giving it a nice pace and excitement to the song.

Cool... Sometimes this song reminded me of those old Micro Machine commercials (haha)... This song is very cool... I love the flow and when you start singing quickly it really dictates this songs direction, and unlike other songs that attempt this, you do it very well... I thought everything was done nicely and it was balanced (drums, bass, guitars were not overdone)... Good Job!
